MTSA will respond to requests for lien letters upon the sale or refinancing of a property in our service area, to determine whether MTSA has liens on the property in question and to determine the availability of sewage service to the property.

Upon payment of the lien letter fee, MTSA will research current sewer service availability, sewer service accounts and unpaid assessment fees and any other fees applicable to a specific residence or lot. Each letter is prepared at a cost of $25.00. All fees must be received in advance of the issuance of the letter, which requires three (3) days for preparation.  Please call 412-366-3420 to inquire.
