Safety Equipment

MTSA owns and operates the following equipment:

Four Portable Gas Monitors - monitors explosive gases: H2S, O2 and CO2.
Self Contained Breathing Apparatus - Units housed at all major plants. Emergency response personnel have portable units in vehicles.
Five Fall Retrieval Winch Controlled - can lower to depths of 50 ft.
Stationary Chlorine Leak Alert Monitors - Units monitor chlorine feed rooms for leaks and will notify by an alarm system if a leak occurs. Chlorine cylinder leak repair kits.
Portable Breathing Air Unit - can supply breathing air to two employees for system work being performed in confined spaces up to 75 ft. from outside air.
Complete Line of Trench Safety Equipment - 30 handheld radios for communication on remote projects and for traffic control.
